Studio Majstori & B92.net

2006 was a year when Twitter was founded as an SMS service, smart phone of the year was Sony Ericcsson K800i – with color screen and camera.

In that time Football (Clash) Arena saw the first light of day. Back then, national domain was .yu, B92.net was one of the few pioneer online news websites and majority of Serbia (over 90%) was using dial-up to connect to access it.

Ivan Aksentijević and Ognjen Lopušina founded Studio Majstori(.co.yu), to work on web dev, primary for B92. Slavko Fodor had joined the studio and put the worm out to develop some game – just to try.

In two-three months of overnight work, Football Arena was created for B92 as an add-on for special coverage of FIFA World Cup in Germany 2006. The game was ready to test just before the WC kick-off. Italy won the WC – Arena won harts and minds of 30.000 people who had competed in the game during the WC.
